Medvet in Antwerp is looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian for its clinical biology department.
Sonic Healthcare Benelux is a clinical laboratory belonging to one of the largest laboratory groups in Belgium, with laboratories in Ardooie, Antwerp and Genk.
In Antwerp, we process about 6000 samples of human and veterinary origin every day. Together with some 350 colleagues, we work to deliver reliable and high-quality results for humans and animals. "We take it personally" is therefore our lab group's slogan.

Job description
As a veterinarian, you provide diagnostic advice to our customers (fellow veterinarians) by telephone. You validate results daily, develop and validate new tests and ensure external quality control in cooperation with university laboratories. You manage and write our external and internal communication and organise refresher courses for our clients and colleagues.

- You have a master's degree in veterinary medicine, preferably with several years of practical experience.
- You have an interest in clinical pathology and internal medicine.
- You have an analytical mind and like to work in a problem-solving way.
- You have a sense of innovation to keep the quality of our veterinary department high every day.
- You enjoy continuous training and keeping up with the latest changes in our sector.
- It is an added value if you followed the Internal Medicine training at ESAVS.
