This privacy statement has been specifically drafted for the mobile application Lab2Go (developed by AML bvba) and supplements the general privacy statement of AML.
1. Specific Information about the Lab2Go App
The Lab2Go app is designed to provide healthcare providers with secure access to laboratory results.
- Identification: This app is owned and managed by AML bvba.
- Data Communication: The app communicates exclusively with the AML server configured by the user via a secure connection. The app provides no functionality without a valid user account provided by AML.
- Personal Data on the Device: The app exchanges medical and personal data with the laboratory's secure database. However, no personal data is stored locally on your device.
- Use of the Camera: Your device's camera is used exclusively for:
- Scanning barcodes for easy data entry.
- Optionally capturing temporary images that you explicitly wish to upload to the laboratory server.
- Note: The camera is never activated without your knowledge, and images are neither used nor stored outside of the intended laboratory context.
