As we continue to grow and explore global opportunities, we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Project Coordinator (PC) to join the team in Antwerp, Belgium.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a scientific and internationally connected environment, supporting clinical studies conducted across Europe and beyond. You’ll collaborate closely with global teams, contributing to projects that help advance medical research and innovation.
In this role you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of therapeutic areas and work closely with both our European operations and headquarters in Sydney, Australia.
The OpportunityAs an PC, you will play a pivotal role in the set-up and smooth execution of clinical trial studies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support Associate Project Managers, Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with study set up and maintenance
- Simple study set up and on-going maintenance
- Act as primary point of contact at Sonic Clinical Trials for assigned studies
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders for ongoing support throughout study setup and maintenance.
- Bachelor or higher in Biomedical Science or Science or related field preferred (or a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a central laboratory setting)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer support role within the health, pathology, pharmaceutical or clinical trials industry
- Understanding of the clinical trials industry and central laboratory
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting
- Time management and organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft applications skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or other European languages are a plus.
- Commitment to high quality work and customer service
- Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, ability to be flexible, and a willingness to display initiative
- Interest in laboratory science and diagnostic pathology
- A supportive, collegial team with extensive onboarding and training.
- Full-time contract (37.5h/week) with flexible working hours.
