Job description
As we continue to grow and explore global opportunities, we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Associate Project Manager or Project Manager (dependant on experience) to join the team in Antwerp, Belgium.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a scientific and internationally connected environment, supporting clinical studies conducted across Europe and beyond. You’ll collaborate closely with global teams, contributing to projects that help advance medical research and innovation.
In this role you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of therapeutic areas and work closely with both our European operations and headquarters in Sydney, Australia.
The Opportunity
As an A/PM, you will play a pivotal role in the set-up and smooth execution of clinical trial studies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the operation of local and global clinical studies.
- Implementation of Sponsor Studies in accordance with client requirements
- CTMS Study Definition and Testing, per the protocol and study specifications document
- Acting as the primary point of contact to Sponsor/CRO for assigned studies
- Proactively monitoring study budgets and the on-going progress of the studies within your portfolio
- Managing the complete operation of assigned studies from client support, kit production and shipping, through to result reporting and study closure.
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a clinical laboratory setting, ideally a multi-disciplinary pathology laboratory.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a proactive and flexible mindset.
- Commitment to high quality work and customer service.
- Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting
- Experience in phase 1 clinical trials.
- Experience with CTMS and Microsoft applications is an advantage.
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus.
- A team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, ability to be flexible, and a willingness to display initiative
- A supportive, collegial team with extensive onboarding and training.
- Full-time contract (37.5h/week) with flexible working hours.
